There are no monthly payments or any subscription of any kind for using Roku devices. Some channels require a monthly subscription. While they restrict how many devices can stream their content at a given time, there's no restriction on how many devices to access their services.

I have at the moment eight different Roku devices registered to my account. As I said, there's no cost to add them to your account, and no monthly payment for using the devices themselves.
