So I have a Roku 3. There's an channel I'm trying to access but it needs the Access Control Lock? I have no idea what it is or remember setting it up.
Is there any way I can do this? I've already did the reset for the 4 digit pin and that doesn't help.
I have never heard of such a function. Since you already tried changing your PIN, it appears that's not what it is.
Are you trying to install a new channel, or access one that's already installed? The PIN only applies to installing a channel. If it's one you already have, then it's something specific to that channel, not the Roku itself. I'd contact whomever offers that channel and ask for assistance.
Yes access a channel that's already installed.

What app? And since, like @atc98092, I've never heard of that message, please describe all of the steps you do and cause the message to display, so we can try to replicate the issuse.

Well it's videobox. That's a private roku channel and that's the actually code for it. It's an adult roku channel.
It wanted me to create a pin, which I did. I remember the exact 4 digit pin for it. But it doesn't work.
Try starting over. Remove the channel (highlight it on the Home Screen and press the * button on your remote; choose Remove), restart your Roku from Settings->System->System restart (don't skip this step), add the channel again at https://my.roku.com .
I'm wondering if that's a feature of the app, rather than a feature of Roku. If that's the case, you may need to log in to your account with that service and set/reset the app PIN.
Roku doesn't offer a PIN for launching an app, only for adding and app to your Roku account or for purchases via your Roku account. Once added, there is no PIN to access, unless the app itself has that functionality.

As for removing and restating the roku, I'll do that after work.
I've also contacted them. I don't even think they know what I'm referring to.
Sorry for the delay in response. So I did that and the streaming channel is still requesting a access control lock code.
Well, that certainly appears to be something specific to the channel, not the Roku. Only the channel provider can help with that.
