I rented a movie Sunday afternoon and watched it. I’m still within the 48 hour time frame but I cannot watch the rented movie again without purchase. Someone help me understand.

You didn't indicate what channel/streaming service you used for the rental, but typically a 48-hour rental is a rental period for a movie or TV show that allows the renter to watch the content for 48 hours after starting it.  Meaning either you have 48 hours to start and finish the movie or you have 48 hours to finish watching the movie, if you happen to pause it.  It usually does not mean that you have unlimited viewings for that 48-hour time period.  That time frame can vary depending on the rental service.

Yes, if you mentioned the service and the movie, someone could possibly go find their terms, but with almost no information, it seems like their rental terms could be whatever they say they are. Also, since no service was mentioned, I'll ask if you are absolutely sure you are looking for the movie on the same service that you rented it from?
