2 second delay just before commercials when in play back mode on Paramount+

My Roku Ultra model 4660X2 losses audio for 2 seconds during playback on Paramount+   It only occurs at 5 seconds before a commercial. I swapped it out with my Roku express and no problem. 

I’ve tried rebooting the system, checking for update etc with no luck. Any suggestions?

Roku doesn’t make the Paramount+ channel. Paramount does. Are both your Roku‘s connected to the same Wi-Fi? Meaning are they both using the 2.4 or 5.0? Are both devices the same distance from your modem?

1. Remove the Paramount+ channel 

2. Restart your Roku Ultra

3. Reinstall the Paramount+ channel

Yes both Rokus are connected to the same wifi network and are the same distance. I tried uninstalling the app and rebooting th device and reinstalling. It didn’t change anything.

Both are using the 2.4 or are both using the 5.0? You can try doing a factory reset. Roku does not make the Paramount+ channel as I previously stated. Your device is out of warranty.

Most newer modems and routers are dual band. Which means they do 2.4 and 5.0. The fact that yours is only 2.4 means it’s extremely old. And your Roku ultra is out of warranty. You can try doing a factory reset. But Roku does not make the Paramount+ channel.

Thanks. I’ll try a factory reset. I’ll also try contacting paramount. 

I had this issue a couple of years ago and was sent steps to correct. Unfortunately I don’t have those old emails.
