Where have you been? In a cave. This has been in the news.

Roku and Google contract ran out and they don't currently have an agreement. https://support.roku.com/article/1500009007722

Re: youtube tv icon

thx for the smarta$$ response.

now anybody that can read can you answer my question about the youtube channel icon. is it gone for everyone or did something happen to my account. it worked up until an hour or so ago.

Update 4/30/21

If you already have YouTube TV installed on your Roku device, you will continue to have access to the channel unless Google requires us to remove it. Note that you should not remove the channel if you plan to use it. New installations and reinstallations will not be possible at this time.

Yes. You will be unable to find the YouTube TV app in the Channel Store.

Your understanding is incorrect. You cannot access YouTube TV through the YouTube app.

That article I listed? That. You didn't know about that? It's been in the news as I said.

If someone removes an app from any Roku device, the app will be removed from all Roku devices that are on the same Roku account. As the article said, don't do that.

Which explains why I still have it on my devices. No one removed it from any of my devices.

Are you the only person with access to devices on your Roku account? If not, it's time for a serious talk with the others.

If you are the only one, perhaps it's a glitch. Reboot the Roku and see if it reappears. If that doesn't, PM me. I have a suggestion.

Even if it were somehow/accidentally removed, you can access YouTube TV via the regular YouTube app: just open YT up, open up the menu, scroll all the way down to "YouTube TV" select it.
