Why has my roku become slow to connect to amazon prime in the last month? It used to connect beautifully and it still connects to Netflix or other streaming services quickly. I checked the firmware status of roku and it was up to date as of 8/9/18. Only amazon prime seems to be affected. And if I keep retrying it eventually connects and then all the programs stream just fine. Is there some kind of issue between roku and amazon? I have twice now deleted the amazon channel and then added it back. I have a 75 Mbps connection using Comcast and very little other activity especially when we have settled down to watch tv. What happened and when will it be fixed. vern

The order is important, as makaiguy was saying. Simply restarting the device isn't enough. It must be done in this order. Any other order is incorrect:
Remove the app
Reboot the Roku
Reinstall the app
Your response isn't clear that you did it in that order.
