Re: my roku says when wanting to play you tube has an error saying please delete apps low on space

@darthvador2012  Thanks for reaching out.

Try following the steps outlined here, in order, to remove the YouTube channel, restart your Roku device, then add the channel back once more after your device has been restarted: https://community.roku.com/t5/Channel-Issues-Questions/Look-Here-for-Help-amp-Support-with-Channel-I...

Keep us posted if you need more help from there.

Re: my roku says when wanting to play you tube has an error saying please delete apps low on space

@darthvador2012 Thanks for following up. Depending on how many channels you have added to your account, you may need to remove additional channels.

- What specific model of Roku device do you own? (Settings>System>About)

-How many channels do you currently have installed?

You could also try performing a factory reset of your Roku device, and setting it up again. You can do this in Settings>System>Advanced system settings>Factory reset. This will remove all data, channels and login information from your device. You'll want to remove any additional channels from your account/device prior to doing this if you have a very high number installed though.

Keep us posted from there!

Thanks,

Tanner

@darthvador2012  You might try uninstalling more channels, then performing a factory reset on your device.

If you have a Roku device that is a number of years old, some models of devices have less hardware resources available (memory, etc.), which can decrease performance if you try to install a high number of channels (apps).

I would recommend removing additional channels and continuing to test loading the channel, and/or trying the factory reset option. That should help clear up that type of issue.

Re: YouTube Error: Can't Run Channel since Not Enough Space

Did you find a solution, dartvador2012?

I am running into this SAME issue on my Roku Express+ 3910RW when trying to view YouTube (get error message "Can't run channel" "... not enough space...") along with Apple TV not loading (will load to 100% and then return to the Home screen without loading).

I removed YouTube, restarted my Roku device, and then reinstalled YouTube, but same issue still exists. I also made sure I am using the Default Theme pack.

Please, please Roku try to fix this huge and VERY annoying issue and please work with Google too if the issue is with their YouTube channel code!!

And if this is not a bug in RokuOS, then when the "Can't run channel" message appears, instead of only giving the "OK" choice, please also give a choice to view which channels are taking up most of the space so we can try to focus on removing those channels. Thanks!

Please do not keep ignoring this issue, Roku, and please STOP blaming the user -- you, Roku, are ultimately responsible for the user experience.

Re: my roku says when wanting to play you tube has an error saying please delete apps low on space

Hi ,
Today when i try to run youtube or any other channel on my roku model 3810x i get the error msg
Cant run channel because there is not enough space.
I deleted almost all the channels and youtube is the only left channel and i am still getting the same issue/ error message.
I already reset the sytem twice and it didn't solve the issue.
