intended for US not Canada

one Site says not intended for use in Canada

That is a little confusing “then why sell it in Canada”

Does it only work with a US IP address,
If that is the case then why not just say that then.

Or is it because there is not enough Canadian content

I don’t wish to have the strictly Canadian content only or 51% as the CRTC restrictions says

can someone help me with this product

Thank you

Re: intended for US not Canada

Few channels own the programming they show.  Most have to license the right to stream their content from the program owners, and those rights are usually tied to specific countries or geographic regions.  The Roku units work anywhere in the world.  The individual channels, however can only operate where their charters and program rights permit them to operate.
