I cant access Disney plus and a few other apps because it says the apps need an update, but the roku says all updates are current, Does any one have any experience with this problem?
1) You didnt mention your Roku model # or firmware version: Settings/System/About
2) You didnt mention your Disney+ app version: highlight Disney+ and press Options (*)

Can you please clarify when you state that the Roku says all updates are current? Does that refer to the channels themselves are updated, or the OS is up to date?
Please note that these are two different things and require separate updates respectively.

the os on the roku tv is what i assume has been updated. is there a way to update just the channels. thanks for the response
If you want more useful help, provide the previously requested system information (model #, firmware version, app version).
The auto-updater updates all software (firmware/middleware/apps/etc) - you cant filter the types of updates it checks for or downloads.
You can manually check for an individual app update: Highlight the app/Options/Check for updates
