Help & troubleshooting for channels on your Roku device, including adding/removing channels, logging in to, authenticating, or activating a channel, channel-specific playback issues, assistance contacting channel publishers to report issues, and adjusting channel-specific settings.
there are so many channels that say after you add them that you need to be subscribed to a cable provider. Is there an easy way to delete these channels without going back to each of them and deleting. It is such a waste of time. We need to be informed ahead of time if a cable subscription is necessary before we add the channel.
Please create topics in the appropriate board for the issue or question you are raising.
Channels describe their requirements on the channel information screen prior to installing on your device/account. You can also see these requirements by searching and viewing channels in the online channel store at channelstore.roku.com
You'll need to remove channels from the home screen by navigating to each channel tile, pressing the * key and choosing 'Remove channel'. Thanks again for sharing the feedback!
That is the most useless answer ever. There is no topic because it's not what the 'program' does. Deleting 125 channels one at a time is ridiculous. Innapropriate for children (and adults I might add). And while we are 'not on the subject' (actually couldn't find a topic about getting rid of all the channels, only crying about where they went ... get used to that), can you explain why the default Parental Controls settings are OFF? Seems children are not important to protect from this kind of "Advertisements" ... Furthermore, maybe you can explain why 'Show/Hide' channels will not accept the Hide request? Does the microphone stay on when it says it is off? Reminds of that bad joke program ...
