cannot load Roku channel or Hulu app

This evening when I try to load Hulu or even the Roku channel, it just reverts back to the home screen.

Before trying anything else, pull the power for 30 seconds and then boot it back up. If that doesn't help, then try removing Hulu (just do one at a time). Highlight the Hulu tile on the home screen, press the * button, and select remove. After that, reboot the Roku. Either pull the power again or use the Settings/System/System restart menu. After it boots, then add the channel back and see if it works. 

What model Roku do you have (model number, not name)?

Thanks for the post.

Please be aware that there have been reports of the Hulu channel reverting back to the home screen as of recent. We are currently investigating the issue.

What Roku model device are you using and how are you powering the device? Is the device plugged into the TV USB port or is it plugged into a wall outlet?

With more information we will be able to assist you further.
