can't add netfix

Got a new 55" TCL Roku tv, I'm located in the USA, when I go and click on the Netflix icon for add a channel that was installed when I loaded the Roku activation into the tv I get the error message "channel install failed". Same with amazon Prime. I've done the factory complete resets a bunch of times with updates including removing the device from my roku account before reinstalling and nothing works. Contacted Netflix as I have an existing account, they said talk to roku. Getting frustrated.
