cable changing to roku streaming

my cable company is switching to roku based and going away with cable boxes. Can anyone tell me about this. Im not sure if i want to get roku tvs or the streaming sticks any feed back is appreciated

What cable company? If they go to Roku, they often supply customized versions of Roku's as replacement boxes.

they are offering one roku at 30 or a credit but i need more then that i also have 3 tvs that are not flat screen and not smart so i was tring to figure out the best route to go. the cable company is zito

If the TV's don't have HDMI inputs, then you will need to get some adapters to convert them. But then, it may almost be cheaper to buy new TV's these days.
