Different people had different solutions that worked for them. Nothing worked for everyone. So, you may need to try several things. You pick the order of these, depending on which seems easiest or hardest to do or deal with.
One is your browser. Try clearing all cookies. Yes, that'll mean you lose all "remember login" settings. You'll have to log back in to everything you have that set for: banking, Facebook, heck everything. So, PITA.
Another is trying a different browser. Some had success with Firefox instead of Chrome. If you're using Safari, try one of the other browsers. The downside is you might have to install an app, which can be problematic if you don't get it from the Mac App Store. The upside is it already has cleared cookies, avoiding the problems associated with the previous item. Personally, I suspect it's not Firefox specifically, but something related to the fact that cookies are clear or otherwise not set, but that's just speculation on my part.
Procedurally, try this (the order here is important): Log out Home Town Cable and WTVE.net on your browser, then log back in to each. Keep your browser open. Open a new browser tab. Remove IDGO from Roku. Reboot the Roku. Add IDGO to Roku. Launch ID go on Roku. Follow the activation instructions.
