Youtube, WeatherNation, and Discovery Plus Apps not working

Tried opening our regular apps, Youtube/Weather Nation/Discovery Plus as usual last night and today and none will work.  YouTube says channel isn't working, Discovery Plus just gives a blue screen and Weather Nation shuts down and goes back to home screen.  Apparently our devices are not supported either so I can't get help that way.  We have the Express and Roku Express.  Never had problems before this.  Tried everything but a factory reset.  Was thinking that was the absolute last thing to do.  Is there an outage or something, especially since it's affecting more than one channel?

Its not that they arent supported, they probably arent available for "Agent-Assisted" support (if they are lower end models, such as an Express), meaning you wont get a Roku employee interaction (chat/phone/email) - you have to use help/support articles and these community forums.

Neither of you mentioned your Roku model # or firmware version:  Settings/System/About

It also might be useful to test your connection/speed:  Settings/Network/Check connection  What is the "Internet download speed" found?

Two things to try as a solution is to restore your default theme and choose a simple screensaver

1) Restore default theme:  Settings/Theme/Restore default theme/Restore

2) Choose simple screensaver:  Settings/Theme/Screensaver/Roku digital clock/Set as default screensaver

Ours is doing the same. Netflix seems to be the only app that works. HBO/Disney/Prime/Youtube all say there is a network connectivity issue or that they are unable to connect to the internet even though I know it’s connected since Netflix is working. I’ve tried restarting our modem, a system restart of the Rokus, updating channels, removing and redownloading channels but nothing works. Finally did a factory reset and now when entering our emails to get an activation link it just says unable to send email.

Yeah, I am hesitant to do a factory reset due to more issues.  It's good to know someone else is also having problems similar to ours and it's not just us.  Hopefully there is a resolution soon.  Thanks!

Thank you for responding!  Very helpful information and after testing your suggestions, that seemed to do the trick by changing the theme and screensaver.  Thanks again!
