I bought 4 Roku devices after moving in a year ago. YouTubeTV went from $49.99 at the start to $64.99 a few months ago. Now we won't get it at all. I'm truly sick of these tech companies trying to renegotiate terms to grow their profit picture at the expense of all their customers as they bait and switch. Both companies should be ashamed and rethink this idiotic dance where one blames the other and only the customers suffer. If they don't, they will both lose countless customers, including me.
'"For now" we can still use the YouTube TV app - but don't delete cause you may not get it back' - is what I just told by a Roku Agent. "For now" doesn't really work when you have TV's with their system build in - NOT happy!
I have had it with ROKU and their GREEEEEEED and the negative consequences for their consumers. Roku was the biggest mistake. It is supposed to be a way to access media......but it no longer is due to their greed. I purchased 5 Roku TV's because it was a solid way to access media sources. Suddenly I find out they took away my cable access with specturm because they could not reach a deal with them. So I switched over to Youtube TV. Now they are taking away YouTube TV. I just want all my money back so I can put Roku behind me for good. Do not buy into their products. They are not dependable. They are a trap.
