YouTube TV channel not listed on supported Roku device

Jump to solution

I just signed up for YouTube TV trial.  I tried to add the YouTube TV channel on my Roku Premiere and it is not listed as a Streaming Channel.

My device is listed as a supported device for YouTube TV:

Roku: All Roku TVs, Roku Ultra, Roku Streaming Stick+, Roku Streaming Stick (3800x, 3600x), Roku Express/Express+ (3910x, 3900x, 3710x, 3700x), Roku Premiere+, Roku Premiere, Roku 4, Roku 3 (4200x, 4230x), and Roku 2 (4210x).

My device is up to date - Software version 9.2.0 build 4131-29

How do I get this channel added?  NOTE: this is not the YouTube channel, it is the live YouTube TV channel.

Sorry for the post.  Shortly after posting it, I realized I could add the channel by logging into my Roku account online.  All is good now.

Which Roku device models support Youtube TV?  I have a Samsung TV of 2016 year.  Thanks.

Is there a Roku model that will support Youtube TV on my 2016 Samsung TV?

doojam listed all the supported models two posts above.  Any of those will work.  When shopping for a Roku go by model number and not by model name.  Roku loves to use the same model name over and over again.
