Re: YouTube TV App not working

Mine came back.  Have to go thru Youtube and down to the bottom left there is Youtube TV button.  You have to follow the restart instructions.  It came back after a few hours on my newer model Smart TVs. It took 3 days on my older model smart TV.

Re: Youtube not working on Roku Stick/Premier Plus/ MISSING FROM APPS

You will have to go thru the Youtube app. very bottom left.  You may have to wait a few days for it to work on older model Smart TVs.

Re: YouTube tv not working will not load

I'm in the same boat.   Youtube TV not working in the family room.   So I deleted the app with the intent of re-installing it.   Disappeared on all of my Roku devices.  However now it's like Youtube TV never existed.    Won't show up when searched.

Re: No longer getting YouTubeTV/YouTube

Yes I guess I'm in the same boat.  Just as Football season started, Roku and Google decided to bring the fight into our homes.  I have a Roku stick and a TCL TV that allowed YouTube TV.  All of the sudden the YouTube TV app quit working on one and it was removed from the TCL TV.  My Xbox One save me.  I'm not happy about this at all.  I started switching to Apple TV devices for streaming now.   I don't like someone reaching into my home and killing apps.

Re: No Time To Trash & Bash Roku:. Look Beneath The Obvious

The bottom line is that ROKU is standing up to Google who is trying to gain control over a platform where apps that they and Amazon have dropped or censored are still carried.

Google want total control over what you are allowed and they want the power to censor free speech.

JUST LIKE THEY DO ON YOUTUBE.

I'm with ROKU on this 💯

To Be Clear — YouTube TV is more important than Roku

If YouTube TV stops working in December, that will be the day I throw away my Roku and never buy another one. I will go back to my Apple TV. I can easily change away from Roku, but I have no interest in changing away from YouTube TV.

Re: To Be Clear — YouTube TV is more important than Roku

I don't have YouTube TV but I do have the YouTube app and I watch it more than any other app I have. I see this happening more and more, though, not just with Roku. Google isn't the only tech giant being investigated. Let's face it, the streaming wars are likely to last quite a while and we, the consumers, will be the ones losing the most. I may just chuck it all and go back to reading my books.

Roku stands up to Google the tech bully

I applaud Roku for standing up to Google/youtube.

Someone has to do it. They can't be allowed to force companies like Roku to give them everything about their customers.

Besides, youtube can be watched on computers and phones. For now.

Hopefully more people will start using Rumble to post videos and shows.
