I'm having a somewhat similar problem, an inability to get YouTube to open at all. I've tried unplugging. I've tried deleting the channel and reinstalling it here at my roku account. I've tried deleting the channel and reinstalling it with the device. No dice. Other channels work fine, but YouTube is the only one I watch regularly.. I've had the same issue before, months ago, but was able to get it to work then after reinstalling a couple times. This time, however, I just can't get to YouTube. It's there, but clicking won't open it. Instead, the device defaults to home page after trying to open YouTube for a few seconds. Thanks for any help. npb
We recommend starting here to troubleshoot channel issues: Follow these steps in order:
Navigate to the channel tile on the Roku home screen, press the * key on your remote, and choose 'Remove channel'.
Next, restart your device from Settings>System>System restart.
Once your player starts up again, go to 'Streaming Channels' on the Home screen, and add the channel back once more.
