I'm having a somewhat similar problem, an inability to get YouTube to open at all. I've tried unplugging. I've tried deleting the channel and reinstalling it here at my roku account. I've tried deleting the channel and reinstalling it with the device. No dice. Other channels work fine, but YouTube is the only one I watch regularly.. I've had the same issue before, months ago, but was able to get it to work then after reinstalling a couple times. This time, however, I just can't get to YouTube. It's there, but clicking won't open it. Instead, the device defaults to home page after trying to open YouTube for a few seconds. Thanks for any help. npb

Thank you so much!! I have been getting booted from youtube, vudu, and amazon prime and this fixed the problem. By the way step to should be: Settings>System>Power>System restart. Took me awhile to find it till i happened to try power. You post should be on the front page to let everyone know.
How do i contact the channel provider
My issue is a bit different, when I select YouTube it freezes the entire Roku. I have to turn off the TV to reboot the whole system. Cant do A THING after clicking on YouTube... HELP!!
I've tried everything you said twice and no luck. Everything works great except YouTube. Even YouTube TV works fine. Why is my YouTube not working. I can't even cast YouTube to my Roku Express from my phone. Two days ago everything worked fine. HELP

If the issue is only with the channel alone, this is a good indication that there likely an issue within that specific channel that will need to be addressed with an update from the channel publisher. Channels on Roku are created and maintained by each channel publisher. In this case, you'll want to reach out to that channel publisher directly to share your feedback.
