XFinity Stream Authentication Code

Jump to solution

We've recently purchased and installed a Roku Ultra and have downloaded and installed the XFinity Stream Beta app for it.

As you first open the app it presents you with a code that you must go to XFinity and enter to authorize. All of this works perfectly, we're able to access XFinity on the app just fine.

The issue is that the app makes us repeat this step every day. It seems to work for 24-36 hours or so, and then we have to re-authenticate again.

I have the XFinity Beta app on another TV (LG) which has the app pre-installed on the TV, and it's' never asked me to re-authenticate.

Definitely feels like something with the Roku not saving the authorization code or something. Other apps (Hulu, Netflix, Amazon) seem to work ok.
