Sometimes it goes back to the home screen and sometimes I get an HBO Max Application Error (Error Code 32)

Can you please be more specific about the steps to reproduce the issue? 

For more information about that channel's error codes and functionality, you'll want to contact HBO Max support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.

Here is the error I'm getting on all of my Roku devices when I try to open HBO Max

Yes.  Chino California.  It worked up until about 1 1/2 to 2 months ago

Thanks, just had to ask. I just tried Max on my Premiere 3920, and it came up without an issue. What specific model Roku devices do you have? It's been a couple of days, but it worked on my Ultra 4800 at that time. 

There are huge complaints about the Max app, not only on Roku devices but other platforms as well. It's useless on my Shield tube, but as mentioned it works perfectly on my Ultra 4800, including Dolby Vision and Atmos sound.
