I have a Roku Ultra HD 4K HDR streaming media player. The past few days when I select YouTube TV app it freezes and the screen goes black and remote can't do anything. Eventually it reboots and you go back to select YouTube TV again the same thing happens again. Only way to get YouTube TV working is to delete it, unplug Roku device and then reinstall YouTube TV. This is getting tiring doing every day. SLING, Discovery +, Prime, Netflix apps all work fine. What's going on??
Thanks for reaching us, @bksppb.
If the issue is only with the channel alone, this is a good indication that there likely an issue within that specific channel that will need to be addressed with an update from the channel publisher. Channels on Roku are created and maintained by each channel publisher. In this case, you'll want to reach out to that channel publisher directly to share your feedback.

There are a number of different versions of Ultra. Which model number do you have?
If it's the newest version, that is the 4800. It uses a different system board than previous Roku devices, and Roku is still having a few issues with the OS on it. YouTube TV might not be optimized for it either, but I don't use it so can't say how it works.
Just for grins i would delete the channel, reboot, then re-install the channel. Worth a shot...
