Viki channel will not launch

This channel was working Sunday 4/26/2020.  I have been watching on my laptop and can conclude the site is still up.  My wife was recently watching Prime Video so when I got my Roku back, Viki did not work.

Please let me know what is happening.

Perhaps the Viki channel app got corrupted and needs to be reinstalled.

Remove/reinstall procedure:

1. Highlight channel on home screen.

2. Press * key and choose Remove channel option.

3. IMPORTANT- DON'T SKIP:
From home screen, Settings > System > System restart. This assures no remnant of the old installation remains in the Roku's memory. It may or may not make a difference, depending on what's causing your problem, but it's worth doing.

4. Reinstall the channel.

5. If channel requires a login, you may need to log in anew.
  • Roku Streaming Stick +, 3810X, Ser YH0059427035, wifi - Samsung UN55ES6100
  • Roku Streaming Stick, 3600X, Ser 5S56D8240827, wifi - JVC EM37T
  • TCL Roku TV 43S425/C107X, Ser X000001R60KV, wifi

Thank for the hints, I did accordingly to instructions but didn't work in my case. Viki continues to display a message: "Please update the app", in spite of the fact that I did update the app in the "*" options menu.

Thanks for the update.

If the issue remains unresolved, I'd recommend reaching out to Viki directly to report the issue and request additional support. Many channels on the Roku platform are developed and maintained by the channel provider directly, and they'll be able to best assist. If other channels are working correctly, and you only experience this issue on the Viki channel (app), that is likely an indication that the issue lies within that particular channel. In these cases, the channel provider will need to investigate the issue in order to help resolve it.
