I cannot figure if there is a way to check episode number while viewing a NF show on my Sharp/Roku TV.

You can pause it and it will pop up in about 20 seconds.  Just wish I could see it without pausing the show.

You'd have to complain to Netflix about adding a feature like that. I find it annoying, too.
