Upgraded subscription to Discovery + still show ads. How can I make ads go away?

Discovery + ad-free subscription still won't let me skip ads. Help!

For more information about that channel's features and functionality, you'll want to contact the channel provider support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.

A guess:

Go into your Discovery+ app.

Go to account settings (bottom of menu on the left).

Go to Sign Out (right end of menu on top) and sign out.

Sign back in.
