My roku won’t get passed the update. Says it’s updated then restarts then tells me I need to update again. Please help. It’s new

What's the model number (not name) of your Roku? Are you using the supplied power adapter and not your TV's USB port? Can you use your phone as a hotspot and connect to that just to get through the initial setup?

Model 2710X using everything that is original for it. And using a HDMI cord. And I tried using my mobile hotspot and it still didn’t work.
