Roku devices themselves do not link or attach to your TV provider. Depending on your provider, they may offer a Roku channel that permits authentication and access to streaming sources via their network. Comcast/Xfinity has a beta version, and there are others.

There are also channels from providers (such as HBO) that allows using your TV provider to authenticate and stream their content. But these are all channel specific. You don't just link your Roku to your provider and have immediate access to whatever is available. In a perfect world that might work, but I know of no streaming device that offers such a service.

Dan
Roku Stick (3600), Ultra (4640), Ultra (4670), Premiere (3920), Insignia 720p Roku TV, Sharp 4K Roku TV, Nvidia Shield, Windows 10 Pro x64 running Serviio and Plex on a wired Gigabit network.
