The Roku Channel

Ironically, ever since the "Celebrate Streaming Day" last weekend, I can no longer watch The Roku Channel.

Is it just me?

I have had no problems watching the channel since it launched.

I have tried rebooting the device, removing/adding back the channel, etc. to no avail.

The error just says "network error, check networking settings".

I have no issue with any other channel so I think it is not my network settings.

Thanks for the report.  Please provide your serial number/device ID as well (Settings > System > About)

I don't see anything that says Device ID on the System / About screen.

Thanks!  I've sent the information over to the relevant people.
While I wait to hear back from them, please perform these steps in the following order, and report back:

  1. Remove TRC;

  2. Reboot the Roku;

  3. Re-Add TRC;

Please don't skip step 2!  It's extremely important that the steps are done in that order.

I also now believe that May 9 is the date the channel stopped working for me.
Is there any way to see what changed for the Version 1.5.9 May 9, 2018 channel update?

Also stopped working for me around national streaming day. Noticed two things:

1) New interface graphics
2) more than half the shows won't play

Did get Dirty Harry to play after trying 4 or 5 times.

Some title have an error message that says "cannot access file- is not available or has expired", but others don't say anything, just kick out of the "retrieving" screen.
