Does tv player app not work anymore was watching snooker yesterday through it. Thanks for your help.
Is TV Player a channel available in the Roku Channel Store? I can find something called iWebTV Player, but that appears to be something that works together with an app installed on an iOS device.
To troubleshoot, we need additional information. What is the exact channel you're using, and what model Roku are you using (model number, not name, please). Also, where are you located (country)?
Same issue, for watching UK free-to-air TV
The TV player app is no longer loading on Roku, for streaming free-to-air TV in UK. When I click on the app, it show the introduction screen then returns to the main menu.
According to the TV player website, a message dated 30 April 2020 says that it no longer supports its app on the Roku platform. https://support.tvplayer.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002633798-TVPlayer-no-longer-supports-EETV-Roku-Wi...
This is the second time that Roku has lost service from an app providing live streaming of free-to-air TV in UK, and the loss of the service renders the Roku stick somewhat useless.
Can you advise which alternative app or service is available now TV Player is no longer available? Thank you

Roku has no control over a provider deciding to remove service from the platform, unfortunately. As to what might be available as a replacement, only someone located in the UK can answer that. As a US customer, the only things I see in the channel store are what's available to me here. I believe I've seen iPlayer mentioned before as a UK channel. Does that offer any OTA programming?
