TBS & TNT Application errors

I cannot play either of these channels. The message generated is 

Watch TBS Application Error (popup heading)

Oops... there was a problem. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Here's wahat happened:

Close (button)

Very helpful. I have rebooted the Roku; removed the apps, rebooted the Roku and then reinstalled the apps. Logged out and then reactivated the apps. None of that works. It looks like it is going to work and then it pops up the message above. Once it fails you have to hit the home button to get back to the menu. You cannot back your way up to that menu.

I have no issues playing both apps on a firestick.

This is Roku 4 (4400X) Software 9.1.0 build 4111-17

Wanted to watch the MLB playoffs from the Roku.

Please assist.

I was having the issue on my Roku. The problem turned out to be a bad DNS server being used by my router. I manually updated the router to use the Google DNS servers and it issue has been fixed.

Hi,

Thanks for letting us know about the issue that you are experiencing.

We cannot reproduce the issue that you are seeing. Can you please remove the channel, reboot your device, and reinstall the channel and see if you are still experiencing the issue?

We also recommend that you remove unused channels. The last thing we would recommend is performing a factory reset on your device, and then relinking to your account.

Thanks for the reply.

As listed in my post, I have removed the apps, rebooted the device and reinstalled the applications. There is no change. I also do not have this issue on an Amazon Firestick. Don't have any issues with other apps.

A factory reset of the device is draconian.

I'm emailing TBS.

I’m having exactly the same problem described in this post. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, rebooting… Nothing is working.

When reinstalling, do it IN THIS ORDER:
1) Remove channel
2) Restart your ROKU (very important)
3) Reinstall channel

The channels were removed and reinstalled in that (exact) order. It did not resolve it.

same here.

Still won't work. 

removed channel.

restarted roku (even unplugged it for good measure)

reinstalled channel.

Did you idiots not read his original post?   He just said that he did all those tasks and it's still happening.   I've done those same tasks and it's still happening on my Roku Premier.

Thanks for the post.

If you have removed the channel, restarted the device and then reinstalled and still not able to resolve the issue, I'd recommend reaching out to channel provider directly to report the issue and request additional support. Many channels on the Roku platform are developed and maintained by the channel provider directly, and they'll be able to best assist. If other channels are working correctly, and you only experience this issue on the these channels (app), that is likely an indication that the issue lies within that particular channel. In these cases, the channel provider will need to investigate the issue in order to help resolve it.

I'm having the same issue. I did everything they did and I still can't get it to work. I do have another Roku which it does work on. It's just a Roku stick, but TBS works on that one. Not my other one.
