We had a paid subscription to HBOMax but I just switched cell phone carriers to AT&T and they offer free HBOMax. I cancelled my paid subscription on my Roku account but I can't see where I can re-install it with the AT&T plan. Anyone know how to do that?
When you cancel a premium subscription it just stops it from auto-renewing when your prepaid subscription period runs out, but it stays in force for the duration of the pre-paid subscription. Consequently it keeps logging you into your old subscription.
Find the place where you can log out of that subscription from within the HBO app. It could be under Account, Settings, Options, or something similar. Then you should be able to log back in and connect to your new account.
