If this is happening inside Netflix, it sounds like you've enabled streaming statistics. You'll need to exit playback and return to the Netflix channel's interface. Press the * key on your remote once when you see all the content titles to choose from. Then, choose your movie/TV show and click to play it again. The streaming stats should disappear.
