Very new at this. I have Roku Streaming Stick + and a subscription to Spectrum. A worker at Spectrum said if I use Roku, I have to keep one Spectrum box in the house or the Roku won't work. I don't believe that is accurate, and would like to go all Roku and get rid of the boxes and box rental. Do I have to keep a Spectrum box?
For clarification, a Roku device will not replace the cable box provider by Spectrum. However, you can install the Spectrum channel (app) on a Roku device and access the content in that channel with your Spectrum TV subscription.
