Sound Issues on Hulu and Netflix

We are having the same issue exactly and removing and reinstalling the channel didn't work.

Could you tell us more about the issue you're experiencing? When you performed the troubleshooting step that you've mentioned above, did you restart your Roku device before adding the channel back in? If not, we suggest trying it once again – that step is crucial to making sure that the process is successful.

We realized last night that it is just certain shows on Hulu. For example, it always happens with Modern Family.

Channels on Roku are maintained by the channel developer themselves. Since the issue only occurs on specific content within the Hulu channel, we suggest reaching out to Hulu Support directly to report the issue and for further help. There's likely an issue within that specific channel that needs to be addressed with an update from the channel developer.
