Sling not working on OS 10.0

we have a StreamingStick+ (on a 55" Samsung) bought in November 2017 (and it seems to be the newest version, since Amazon lists it as "first available" in September 2017.

But after around 1.5 hours into watching a recording, when we fast-forward, we get a white box in the FF picture-in-picture "preview" - which renders preview useless.

Sling Support said it was a "new feature" and they were collecting feedback.

As an additional data-point, on our StreamStick (on a 32" LG), the preview seems to works as expected.

Thanks for the post.

We would be happy to look further into the issue for you. Can you please provide us the following information:
-Roku device model
-serial number
-device ID
-software OS/version
(these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
-does this issue occur on a specific channel? if so, what channel and what version/build is the channel (this can be found be selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button)
-tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times)
-steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing

I have three Roku streamer. Two have software version 4195-51 and sling TV won't load on these two streamer. The thrid Rocku has software version 4195-28 and Sling TV works fine on it. I am guessing the problem is in the software version 4195-51. If you remove Sling TV and restart the the Roku and then add the channel back it still doesn't work.

I took a chance and did a factory reset for this problem. So far, worked like a charm.

On the SlingTV "channel"

version 7.12 build 363

-tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times)

-steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing

- start viewing a saved recording

- continue viewing while using FastForward preview to skip commercials and boring parts of a tennis match

- somewhere around 1.5 hours into the recording, the preview "picture in picture" starts showing just a blank white screen (making the "preview" useless

Steps we have done

- delete the SlingTv app

- rebooted our Roku

- re-installed the app

- no change in bad behavior
