Help & troubleshooting for channels on your Roku device, including adding/removing channels, logging in to, authenticating, or activating a channel, channel-specific playback issues, assistance contacting channel publishers to report issues, and adjusting channel-specific settings.
Try removing the channel from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the channel back once more.

I'm having the same issue, Sling works on my Sharp Roku TV but not the Highsense Roku TV I just bought. I get two errors 8-270 and 8-393246. I have tried every combination of uninstalling the app and power-cycling... but nothing resolves it.
For more information about that channel's features and functionality, you'll want to contact Sling support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.
No it did not fix it. It brings up sling but nothing I had, I have sling blue and orange. I have noticed lately that the tv has been totally mocking me out to the main menu and I have to go back to pickup where o was in sling.
