Silver Spoons Season Collection (add and removal of seasons from Roku Channel)

Jump to solution

Hello,
Silver Spoons had Season 1-3 originally then Season 1 and 5 then it went to Season 2 and 3. Now it only displays Season 4 and 5. Is there any possibility to have all seasons available? I have been trying to watch Season 3 and it switched back again to 4 and 5.

Your feedback is appreciated.

Services like Roku must license their programming from the program owners.  These licenses typically limit the geographical region(s) in which the programming can be shown as well as the time limits of the license.  When the license runs out the programming must be removed from the service.  Often these licenses may grant exclusivity privileges so that competing services may not obtain licenses for the same material while the first license is in force.

That's why programs and seasons may come and go on any one service and can jump around among competing services.

Where services like Roku often fall down is in not giving adequate warning when a carriage license is nearing its expiration and the programming will be removed.
