SelectTV ??

Has anyone tried this? Got a feeling all those TV shows they "have" are the typical collection of junk that so many others have when they claim to have thousands of channels or whatever. And while it looks like they might have some stuff, there is also mention of VOD stuff at extra cost.

Re: SelectTV ??

Please be aware that SelectTV is not an approved channel (it's a private channel) and thus is not supported by Roku.

Re: SelectTV ??

A lot of channels are not supported by Roku, I don't think this channel is pirating, I think it sounds like typical scam "hay, we have 10,000 channels", but when you check it out, it's junk no would want to watch for free, let alone pay for. Just wondering if anyone is willing to own up to putting out the money and telling us what it really is like. can't tell much from website. Lot of pics of known shows doesn't mean they have anything or that it's not behind a second paywall.

It's exactly this. They are hoping enough people fall for it before they disappear. Ironically, many "free" channels do this with ads as well.

Never subscribe to a channel without a preview, and never pay to subscribe to a public domain content channel.
