Hello. I have one tv in my house which has a roku. We move it from living room to bedroom. It works in the bedroom, but will not connect to internet in the living room…. We reset the WiFi, reset the roku, unplugged the tv. The WiFi on our phones work just fine in the living room, but the roku won’t accept it
You didnt mention your Roku model # and firmware version: Settings/System/About
Some models are single band (2.4Ghz) and some models are dual band (2.4 and 5Ghz), so it matters what model you have.
In general, if its a dual band model and its on the 5Ghz SSID, try switching it to the 2.4Ghz SSID (this assumes you have a dual band modem/router/gateway as well, with separate SSIDs for 2.4 and 5Ghz).
If your living room location is too near your wifi router it may actually be too close to the router. If the wifi signal is too strong it can actually overwhelm the electronics in the Roku's wifi radio.
