Re: Roku not working on all channels

Have you recently been updated to Roku 9.4 software?  It could be that a bunch of your channel apps also need to be updated.  You can force this to occur via Settings > System > System update > Check

When I did this right after receiving Roku 9.4 I had 24 channel apps update and so far I haven't discovered any problems introduced by 9.4.

  • Roku Streaming Stick +, 3810X, Ser YH0059427035, wifi - Samsung UN55ES6100
  • Roku Streaming Stick, 3600X, Ser 5S56D8240827, wifi - JVC EM37T
  • TCL Roku TV 43S425/C107X, Ser X000001R60KV, wifi

Re: Roku not working on all channels

I'm having a problem with Now TV.

Program plays for ten minutes or so and mysteriously stops. Other channels, e.g. Netflix is streaming ok.

I have done a factory reset and updated software to no avail.

Anyone else having this issue?

@seanF @marybly20

Thanks for the posts.

Try removing the channel from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the channel back once more.

Does this clear up the issue you are seeing? Please keep us posted.

Thanks,
Danny
