Roku express + keeps crashing

So I have a new roku express + I bought for my child for 3 days now and we can't seem to keep it from crashing after 5 minutes into any of the apps. I have tried to remove and readd the channels, factory reset, restart and nothing has seemed to work pls HELP!!!

Hi @Jubinokitsune,

Thanks for letting us know about the issue that you are experiencing.

How are you powering the device? Is it plugged into the TV USB port, or is it plugged into the wall outlet with the provided cables? Please try to connect to a power outlet in the wall using the USB power adapter that came with the Roku.

Please try doing this and see if it helps with what you're experiencing.

I have it plugged into the wall with the cable and wall charging black that came with the roku.

Hi @RokuMary-F still having the issue even after updating it today crashes after 5 mins on any app idk what else to do about it

Thanks for following up, @Jubinokitsune.

Can you please provide us the following information:

-Roku device model
-serial number
-device ID
-software OS/version
(these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
-does this issue occur on a specific channel? if so, what channel and what version/build is the channel (this can be found by selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button)
-tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times)
-steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing

With more information, we will be able to assist you further.
