I'm having exactly the same problem as the other customer, but unfortunately your troubleshooting suggestion doesn't seem to be an option. When I go to the menu the 'remove channel' option is replaced by 'manage subscription'. I have signed up for the EPIX trial via my roku account and my credit card etc was all accepted fine and the system shows my subscription but it doesn't actually work.....as content won't play.
All the other channels - Amazon prime, HBO, Hulu etc all work fine just the ROKU CHANNEL doesn't work.
Other suggestions to fix this please?

I'd recommend reaching out to EPIX directly to report the issue and request additional support. Many channels on the Roku platform are developed and maintained by the channel provider directly, and they'll be able to best assist. If other channels are working correctly, and you only experience this issue on the EPIX channel (app), that is likely an indication that the issue lies within that particular channel. In these cases, the channel provider will need to investigate the issue in order to help resolve it.
