After watching an episode or more of Killjoys on the NBC app upon reaching the first commercial break the commercial drops to a small window in lower left corner and continues all playback from there until the NBC app is exited. Has happened several times across several days.
Thanks for letting us know what you're seeing. I tested playback of that show on the NBC channel, and I'm not seeing the issue you described. Is this still occurring? A few more questions here:
- What specific Roku device are you using? - What season and episode were you watching the last time you observed this occurring? - What commercial/ad started playing when you noticed this behavior? - Have you tried removing the NBC channel, restarting your Roku device, then adding the channel back once more to see if this issue continues? - Have you contacted NBC support to report the issue and request additional support?

I’ve noticed the same issue. It usually happens at the first commercial break of the second episode I watch. i.e. I play S1E5, all good, then when it’s over, it automatically continues to S1E6 and all is good until the commercial break. The screen drops to the bottom left corner at about 1/12 of the full size and stays that size until I exit the show then resume. Right now I’m watching New Amsterdam. I have the Roku Express.
Im having the same issue. I have a samsung tv using a roku stick. Its interesting someone noted it happens when it goes to commercial. It happens on all kinds of shows. Late Night Jimmy Fallon episodes on Treadstone, etc.
