but it still has not resolved my situation. My issues are from 2 rokus, Premier Plus on a Samsung 46 and the Roku Stick Plus on another Samsung 55 with wifi connectability. Both are unable to play Netflix on Super HD. By contrast, if I connect to Netflix via the Samsung's TV app, the icon for Super HD is there, and there is absolutely a noticeable difference in picture. I also have a smaller TV connected to a Roku 1 that when connected to Netflix, it shows and displays in Super HD.
I've tried to change settings, in both the TV and Roku, and in the quality in Netflix to no avail. I have 100MB for speed, and do not have many multiple streaming stuff aside from the rokus. Anything that I am missing?
The newer Netflix app does not display the "Super HD" icon anymore. There's a way to check the Bitrate and Resolution using the * key. I think if you pause the video then hit the *, it will bring up the bitrate in the upper left.
