Help & troubleshooting for channels on your Roku device, including adding/removing channels, logging in to, authenticating, or activating a channel, channel-specific playback issues, assistance contacting channel publishers to report issues, and adjusting channel-specific settings.
I've been trying to make my wife's iTunes library available to her on our Roku running Media Player version 4.1.1559. I was able to get all the files onto a USB drive and have them show up on the Roku. But I have been stymied in getting her playlists (in M3U format) set up. I keep getting the "no compatible audio" error.
As a test, I created a simple, one song playlist, and tried several variations:
#EXTINF:230,Take on me - A-ha G:\iTunes Music\A-ha\Hunting High And Low\Take on me.mp3
#EXTINF:230,Take on me - A-ha ./iTunes Music/A-ha/Hunting High And Low/Take on me.mp3
#EXTINF:230,Take on me - A-ha iTunes Music\A-ha\Hunting High And Low\Take on me.mp3
#EXTINF:230,Take on me - A-ha iTunes Music/A-ha/Hunting High And Low/Take on me.mp3
None of these worked. I've searched in this forum and on the web for a definitive format and/or method of playlist creation, but nothing has stood out to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
An old post but..... but posts are spread all over the internet.... Anyhow, this work work me for but you need to delete the cache if you scanned the drive, otherwise it doesn't seem to SEE the .m3u
