Can Roku Media Player automatically, consecutively play all movie files on an attached hard drive?
To be clear:
I have a Roku Ultra with a connected hard drive. I can play movie files just fine,
But I would like them to play consecutively. After one finished, the next one starts automatically.
One after the next.
This would be to provide hours of ambient background videos using my Roku.
Thanks!
This can be done by simply pushing Play when you have a folder (with subfolders and/or files in it) selected/highlighted in RMP.
Well, thats easy. I will try this.
Next question in that line: Is there a way to play the files in this folder in a certain order?
Perhaps a make a playlist, so Ruko will know what order.
I'm looking for just the opposite. I DON'T want files to play consecutively but rather only when I select them individually. MediaPlayer used to work this way. Is there any way to go back to that?
Want the same. Maybe there's another app that does this??
Both of you need to make sure you give this feedback directly to Roku:
Chat or email: https://support.roku.com/contactus/contact-options (choose setup/ultra/other/need more help?)
and/or message @RokuChris , he manages RMP and the RMP Beta, if you're interested.
