Roku Channel drops shows with no notice?

Over the last several months the Roku channel has dropped Andromeda and Sir Arthur Conan Doyles' The Lost World while I as in the middle of watching the series.  Is this action announced or are we left to wonder the Roku world looking for the programs removed from the Roku channel

Roku will announce on the blog https://blog.roku.com when many new content arrives, but they don't always tell when stuff leaves. Netflix and Hulu don't always tell when stuff leaves, either, although Netflix is better about it.
