Restarting and time zone issue

Hi there, I’m having issues with my Roku express, every time I try to use the Roku channel app it show the wrong time (wrong time zone) so I am unable to actually watch anything because of that, but everytime I try to click the home button, the whole thing does a factory reset and brings to be the “let’s get started” screen. This has happened about 4 times straight now

Update - seems to be only happening in the Roku channel app, other apps are not having the same affect

Thanks for the inquiry.

How are you powering the Roku device? Is the device plugged into the TV USB port or is it plugged into a wall outlet with the provided cable and adapter? We would recommend the latter.
