Please try removing the channel, restarting your device from Settings>system>System restart. Once your device loads up again, add the channel back again from 'Streaming channels'. Then, visit Settings>System>System update>Check now and perform a system update. This should resolve the issue. 

If not, please follow up with the channel provider's support team to report the issue you are seeing and request additional assistance if other channels on your device are still working normally. You can reach Spotify support here: https://support.spotify.com/us/

I removed Spotify, ensured updates were complete, restarted the system then reinstalled spotify DID NOT WORK!

I am also having the same issues.

Followed all instructions on this post and still Spotify keeps crashing.

I also checked if the Spotify App was up to date, it was.

Please advise as to your progress in resolving this.

We are still not able to reproduce this issue. 

The next step in troubleshooting from here would be to perform a factory reset of your device, then setting it up again anew. This will clear all channel and login data from your device, and allow you to set it up again from scratch. Feel free to send me a PM with your Roku account email address, the serial number of your device from Settings>System>About, and I can also help pass your report along to the channel provider.

Has there been a fix to the Spotify issue? I have tried all of the above suggestions and it continues to crash the Roku.
